Actually, I do care. I care to teach others not to make mistakes in the future. Proclaiming that one "world" or another is superior is a fallacy. Both the "internet" and "real life" have there own merits, flaws, and rules.

It's also interesting that at first Secrit claims "superiority" over the internet and then just as soon tries to distance himself from it. He claims superiority of "reality" next with his manly charms. Yeah, more like furry charms.

Why should one care about one world when one is in another? If you're trying to discuss "reality" over here, then you're an idiot because it doesn't make any sense. If you're trying to discuss the "internet" over "reality", then you're still an idiot. They both have their validity, but you just simply don't understand. I think I am quite justified in my assumptions that yes, Secrit is a newb (and I'll pride myself on my book-cover judgement now).

Instead of taking the time to ask a question to appear sane he continues with his views of superiority. He misses the fact that the first person who started helping on this site was none other than myself merely because I had learned a bunch of info. regarding settings / tricks. After that, guess who was next? Gravitron. That's right, the guy most of the board loathes for his flames of the current SubSpace (whether some of those are merited or not is another question).

"Ghost Ship and SSCE" &17th Parallel have a history in the tail end of the "mod squad" era of SubSpace. I remember VI, RISC, iNET, 3xt3, Trench Wars Dark (sadly), the Dark Zone, and who could forget the VIE zones of both retail and beta. I learned from the best and all I see around me are newbie trashtalkers like Secrit.

So in conclusion, Secrit is an idiot. On a personal not, you should try to actually have a point. You should have known that internet discussion actually does accomplish things. In this thread all it accomplished was that we know that you are a retarded newbie. In others we can work together to establish a clear policy for SSC banning, and even have fun flaming people at the same time.

RiSC was great, always hosting new concepts and innovative gameplay/zones (racing zones, tank wars zones, the unique star wars before shadowripper stole it and ruined it) and NeoCipher was one of the coolest guys around and someone who has actually done things for the game out of true motives to help it instead of personal ego/power/fame.
I do believe he could actually be traced to roots in the real RiSC h-group.

As for sercit, not only is he making himself unreliable by being unable to keep to the point he makes and being double-faced/indecisive (Internet vs Real Life), he's also proving his ignorance by it as it's been well documented and continue to be studied by researchers/sociologist that the Internet is a very dynamic and interesting civilization of, in and by its own.
And as such, it is far more than some simple null-space that is nothing next to real life.
Obviously, was it not so important socially, economically, scientifically and beyond none would've expressed interest and invested so heavily in it and we'll all be still surfing BBSes on post-ARPAnet at best.

So...yeah, you lose, newbie.

SSCE was a nice box.
I miss it as well as Alex.
I think at one point DoCK> was going to use it as part of a hosting scheme similar to the old SCF.
I remember going into this zone I think, the global planet or something? and DoCK started to explain the whole thing to me, and gave me an arena...I remember that he complained some people were trying to stop him/stand in the way of realising his vision at the time...

Because if you've ever read what I say, or had a clue, you would know that I don't want to be, never claimed to be nor am a respected member of the ss community, and that image was in general what I think of being a respected member of any mpog, or people who think it is that important.
