Something like a new map format perhaps.... It's more likely just more security features that the new version of the client provides. Less cheating = improvement?

Checksum cycles on items and energy would prevents memory hacks in those 2 fields.

As well the option to make it so the user can't be in 2 ships at once (memory hacking again)

1) The only "cheating" people do in the game is the obscene amounts of lag that's been going both ways or sometimes people who really use torrents and what not to jack it up sheepishly.

2) Twister has been modified to work successfuly with continuum v0.38, but due to lazyness it didn't make it to v0.39pr1.

That newbie been trying to use script kiddie hax and lag cheats since the first day I laid eyes on him in your hyperspace zone, I'm wondering how come he hasn't been net banned to date, or at least banned localy.
Also, ASSS is succiptble to twister since it allows VIE, so, there.
Maybe someone gave him *super, could happen.

Also, regarding whats that guy said in chat, you can't use softice in a zone you don't own, you get red flags trigger all over.

Bottom line, cheating isn't nor ever was an epidemic.
The only reason back in '99 that people were so histeric about it was because they had no clue how to use proper banning tools and *kill was easily avoided.
So this nerd went gay in TW, and was probably banned shortly thereafter.
Case closed.

I could go and use this to take a jab at cont, after all the gay shit SSC been jamming, namely bd vine, perhaps you too ekted, but frankly, I don't give a rat's ass nor a toad's gill.
So, screw it all.
SSX is dead anyway, trench box is lagging all over europe and lamers/laggers are as rampant and unchecked as ever, so why bother.
