that zone sucks ass. Why? the bases are WAY to big. So if sum1 gets the flags, all they gotta do is go through one base and the timer will expire. That also makes it possible for people to play running type flagging since there is little anitwarp used. Although i like the graphics in settings, whoever owns the flags basically decides the winner. All together, i give it 4 out of 10. Yay my first zone review

tsk tsk Fudle...u never say that a zone sux (even if it does).. people put their hearts and time into makin a zone....if u tink it sux...then don't go play in it...how would u like it if u made a zone, spent countless hours on it....then people go and say it sux...i bet u wouldn't like that at all (if someone said my zone suxed...i would hunt them down....lol i am jk

WHen you play a zone for more then 5 minutes, you will realize the bases are not that big.
Plus the timer is about 300 seconds long for flags. I can go up and down before it runs out.
As well, you can buy rockets to speed your way through

people tell me that my zone sucks ass badly all the time. yet whenever its online i get a pop of 5-10 people which is good enuf for me considering i got 56k and its not finished yet

Make ship graphics optional. It took like 2 minutes on cable. What about the poor 56K users?

ya like me......i hate huge file downloads...is it possbile to make them smaller...but still mandatory to download....and fudle...what is ur zone?

its is only 1 mb .. though ...I can't get smaller then that.

SOmepeople download it in seconds ...
I have a 56k myself.

Also remember, you download it once, and your done.

Metal Gear and other LVZed zones do have larger LVZs as well, but the time is worth it.

If your lvz is 1 meg, please, PLEASE, split it up into a couple of different .lvz. This is so if you want to upgrade an image later, you don't have to redownload another 1 meg for a 60k file.

EDIT: Yes, I do have cable, but many SS players still use dial-up, and you should be kind to them.

Ships.lvz
graphics.lvz
bmpgraphics.lvz
commands.lvz
title.lvz
and devastation.lvl

that is how it is currently split.
the ships.lvz will never be touched again (or at least not for a very long time), and that is half the download.
command.lvz is only a few kb, but is constantly updated, the title.lvz won't be touched either, unless I get a better title

the graphics.lvz constains all of the bm2 files that have not been updated to bmps yet, which are in the bmpgraphics.lvz .
Eventually, when the next set of graphics are ready to be updated, I will be splitting the graphics into sections.

I wasn't saying to take OUT lvz's. I was just saying do +ships.lvz, since people will usually just want to check out a new zone quickly, not wait for a download.

SSA Devastation is now the second largest zone on SSI billing.

Just put a + in front of the file in [Misc] LevelFiles=.
I'd suggest doing it with all the replacement graphics (unless they're vital) since most people download optional anyway.

and I just wanna know whether i gotta rename the actual files ... or just add + to them on the server.cfg
