So I have this continuum.lvz I made, which contains most of the Subspace graphics' dimensions halved. I was originally intending to make an arena or zone where the map was "2x to 4x bigger" based on this illusion trick, and the settings would match the ships (because otherwise, technically the ships would be 2x faster at half scale vs normal scale).

My question is, what things in the settings do I need to half to match the scaling?

1. Anything to do with 'speed'

I would say tiles, but you're kind of limited with those.

For settings, you'd need to take into consideration:

- Speed & thrust (ships, bombs, thors, guns, ball)
- Radius (ship radius, prox radius)
- Wormhole & Repel (speed, radius)

And I think that's about it...

Yeah, for tiles you'd still have to align them on a 16x16 grid, but you could make their graphics 8x8, with 2 minitiles on each tile, and put them on one side so the ships can correctly collide with it.

However, to have 1-tile-wide holes that ships can't get through, you'll have to use a ship radius of 8 for a ship size of 17 pixels, which isn't exactly half of the default 29, but no one will notice this tongue.gif
