I've been trying to compile asss on windows again and it isn't cooperating. I'm having trouble with the makefiles, which to tell you the truth give me headaches.
I think that it would be appropiate for someone to make a sticky on the steps too compiling a clean asss 1.4.4 on windows.
(i think i remember having a post like this before but i couldn't find it).
Edit: I'll start a process here
1.Download python version 2.2 or higher. put python.exe in windeps folder and python%d.dll (%d = version of python. version 2.4 means python24) in the windeps folder as well. python%d.dll can be found in bin (python24 specifically i believe).
2.Open up system.mk and set that part up. If anyone feels like writing a more helpful and complete direction on this part please do.

I'm having the same problem. I'm not sure it's the makefile's fault, though. What compiler are you using? |
