What settings do I use if i'd like the flag to sit on say 512 512 and team that controls it for 5 minutes wins?

Set Flag:Flagmode=2 in your server.cfg. Also, use the flag tiles to place flags (turf only) onto the map. For the holding for 5 minutes part, that can only be done by a bot, unless you just prize points for every x seconds (should be in the server settings).

I assume you mean like the settings in trench wars?

Like he said... use the flag tile in the tileset for the position you want it to sit.

In server.cfg

Flag
Code: Show/Hide

CarryFlags=0
FlagMode=2
MaxFlags=1
RandomFlags=0
FlagRewardMode=0


Periodic
Code: Show/Hide

RewardDelay= Should be what you need to set the reward at every 5 mins BUT I dont know what you need to put there... I think its in 1/100ths of a second... someone else might know
RewardMinimumPlayers=2
RewardPoints= "whatever you want the reward to be at the end of the 5 mins

Actually ive never played trench wars.

But I'd still need a bot to reset the game.

Also do i need a bot to warp players when they change freqs?

Warp then to the spawn area? Meaning where everyone spawns at when they enter the game or die; or do you want to warp freq 0 and 1 to two different places?

i think for what he is aiming at he will need a bot anyways. im not completely positive but im decently sure that when you change freqs and your in a safe zone you will not be warped. There may be a set that doesnt allow this but a bot is most likely needed.

EDIT : i am assuming that safe zones will be used in the zone.

I meant to say that in my post... Thought I can't really see the need to warp freq hoppers that are in a safe unless the safe is too close to the base or whatever...
