As a zone owner, and a sysop at a previous zone, I'm not sure how to respond to this. All I can say is, that if both people are still bitter, this whole thing could get worse before it gets better.

All i can say is that the host called Lady_Death is hosting a zone which is not hers.

I will give all the backups to our sysop's DKoRnDoG and Black Dracula to have and do as he pleases.

But i feel this community should protect zone-owners.

the fact that a host has the files doesnt give her/him the rights to keep the zone up.

this needs an action.

Who decides what is wrong and right?

a host or the person who spend more than a year too create this zone?

If this would happen to an owner what does this mean too ppl.....this is a sad day for Continuum.

there's nothing stopping ld from changing the map and any special features like bots then claiming it for herself.... you can't claim they stole your settings unless there exact and half the zones out there (mostly newb zones) are just that... clones of other zone settings

You can't have a copyright on a name. Best you could do would be a trademark, and I think you need to be a business to get that.

Sigh.. The only things I really dont agree with pertaining to the zone are the following:

-Default owning the zone. She already has Devastaion.
-Default changing the graphics all of a sudden. Now it looks under-done(if that even exists). In other words.. it looks cheesey.
-She keeps messing with the bot and it messes up.
-She claims she knows ALL of C++, but she doesnt, and shes causing the zone bot problems because of it.(correct me if I'm wrong though.) Also, how will the zone progress, bot wise, without a coder?
-Staff was poorly picked. It went from mabye 1 newbie on staff when db was there, to like 10. Staff was picked in 2 days.
-Too many recycles for such little updates - to no updates at all.
-Way too much talk about this issue with db. I say just leave the guy alone. He quit and its over. I think it should be dealt with when its needed, and not when it comes out of the blue.
-I just don't like most of the situation.

However, I really like the zone settings. I hope that Default doesn't completely take over and change them in any way, unless it is needed.

All of a sudden, AG got a Dictator with a + sign. Im not trying to put down Default+'s managing(*) skills but I think that Dutch has a lot of points. Everything is changing. I just like the zone the way it is. Im not the only one that feels this way, though it may seem as if I was.

As for LD, shes nice. I don't have many or any problems with her at all. I just didn't like how she picked staff. She had almost no standards.

Just to let everyone know, I really apreciate the support many of you are giving. Also after everything Default+ said to me and everything, it sounds like she quit Ag because she was being intemidated by DBS. He was threatening her to get banned from some SSC zones or something? Something along those lines.
I do apreciate the work Default+ put into the zone in the short time she was sysop. And hope to still see her around. I did remove her from sysop. So everyone can lay off of her now.

I never threatened Default+, why should I. I have no beef with her, she just accepted a job from a mental retard called Lady_Death.

Shut the zone down.

Dutch, thats not right.. If you shut down the zone because of personal reasons, that just spoils the fun for other players. I can imagine if you said something like "Shut down the zone until WE(the original owners) put it back up." The other way you said it was quite.. baron.. leaving us with no hope for the zone to be up.

A little nicer wouldn't hurt you know.

Lady_Death has some grand scheme of hosting all of subspace. So, I guess she's starting her empire with anything goes. She also thinks that because she runs the zone it's hers to do with as she pleases.

Good luck with getting through her thick head. She'll never listen to reason.
