Quan, you don't see a scam when it smacks you in the face, do you?
If he really had money problems, he would go to a bank ASAP and get a loan. As well get a temporary job of cleaning up debris and wreckage.
It is obviously a scam, because if he wasn't kidding, he would get a job.
Edit:

Damn rights you won't see or hear of him again, because he is going to take your money and run. Make him sound imporant? HA! Look at all the starving kids in Africa who have been abandoned by their parants and kids as young as 8 or 9 taking on a role as a parent to help their little brother or sister who is as young as even 5 or 6 years old. They sometime's don't eat for up to 2 or 3 days if it rains because the wood is wet. Their houses have over 20 holes in each house's roof. People in Africa are the people who truely deserve help.
As well Trained is right. $2,365.00 could restore 2 of those computers he owes (See: Ebay). |

That might be true, but you can't see someone easily in halo two with invisibility on after they've just walked over it - and they could then press B on the control and smack you in the face.

Anyway Spyed, I thought you left? I mean, it was all celebrations on that day. I think today is the official day of mourning because of your return. |

If you want to donate, donate to the red cross and the money will actually put into some use. _________________ X-SSCI Halo CTF Administrator

Oh I would use it too, Agurus. I just doubt any of the pathetic amount of money on your bank account would help anything anywhere. |

Wow.. Donkano was right for the first time in my eyes. He actually made me think.. Psyphi is just trying to payback people for some computers when others need dearly in other places. Thats right, Donkano. Good job. I give donations for those people though almost every day because my school has a year round fund raiser that they call "Missions". I've been donating some here and there. Man, I never thought about that computer thing though. |

From what I've heard the Red Cross is pretty unreliable. |

I've also heard that UDP is unreliable, but a lot of packets still seem to get where they need to go _________________

UDP works like the regular mail. You stick an address on a letter and hope it gets there. Sometimes your mailman likes to eat letters, other times post offices can't read your shitty handwriting and throw it away.
TCP works like UPS. You send it out, and wait for a responce saying it was delivered. If not, you try again until you get a responce (like UPS coming by the next day to see if you are home then).
Generally, if the internet was perfect, UDP would always be received. But since buffers get full and random variances can cause packets to become corrupt, you take a chance that some will be lost. |

The Red Cross isn't exactly unhelpful. They try everyday to help people in need. Where the hell did you get that The Red Cross is useless? Idiot. |

Who said anything about useless? I'm just going off how a friend had to wait unreasonably long to get lifeguard gear and to even get paid. They're probably just backed up to hell. |
