ehh I can't get cable anyways this is North Ohio lots of country valleys (like the one I live in) and rolling hills. I'm forced to have stailite from direct TV, but I have no complaints (I Have 650/900 channels lol 1120 are non english channels though and there are about 100 stupid non-Brand channel like Action Or Western channel  ) |

I think cable has faster max speeds, but a T1 is a much more direct connection, and thus would probably always be better, at least for SubSpace, which is relatively low-bandwidth.

ummmmm..... smog thats the thread I posted a while ago trying to get ideas for what the server should have I said right in it I'de get it up befor christmas somewhere near the bottem. I have the link to it right on the Server specs of this topic. lol (this is just a follow up thread of that)
What do you mean you like that rule anyway? I tried lowering it down to 1 and every body still hates it so I jus took it off a bit ago. |

I've got the highest connection right now, which still sucks. 3mb down/256 kb/s up
I'd like it to be higher, but it's great for what I'm doing right now. I run a FTP server and I host 2 zones. The lag is decent, with 60ms depending on where you live.

The "ms" crap really does not matter. Back when SSI had there server hosted in the Neverlands, I was gettin a 200+ ping...yet the server was descently good, and I lagged very little. What really matters, is the amount of people you can handle before your connection starts freakin out and laggin.

Ya well the thing is that other things have been coming up. As well the fact that I am the only 1 working on it and it is a rather very large project, it is bigger than your average website. |

Wouldn't you think that people would read the whole post once they were told their first question was there already? But instead they make anogher question that if they had read the post they would already would have known. It's like when no body reads the news and then they come and ask all these questions.
