if you dont care if others come in then you can do a Add Custom zone in continuum, if you really want others to play then we will have to trouble shoot your problem. |

If your settings on server.ini / subbil.ini is set to "localhost" make it "127.0.0.1" else make it other way around.
If that does not help, paste some of the server output and server.ini here. _________________

Most likely he is either behind a firewall or a router... |

NO! Get it right already! He should see it as green on the local loopback before even making it public on the Internet!
So even if he'd be using a firewall he should still be able to see it; Routers and firewalls do not affect the local loopback!
Obviously Maverick has no idea what he's talking about, ignore what he said.
As to what Maverick said about the Billing:IP value, never set it to "127.0.0.1", set it to "localhost" instead.
Post your server.ini and subbill.ini configuration files here, remove any passwords if you're afraid of someone abusing them. |

Got it to work, now i got a problem with getting bombs to do damage....
Because there not doing any at all, and my bombdamagelevel is allrdy set.... i dont get it... :S
Another problem i have is that when my ship is destroyed(from bullets), it doesn't respawn in center, instead it spawns in the place it died with 0 nrg(recharging), moving like it dd when it died, and no items were reset...
a 3rd thing i'd like to know, but it isn't super important, is that i want to learn how to put pictures into games over tiles, like to put a picture over a safe zone so it looks cool...
help would be much appreciated. |

Remember that bombs explode on a point on the ship but damage occurs to the center of the ship. Thus, if your bomb blast radius is below the ship's radius, you'll get zero damage at the center.
The second "problem" is made by setting Kill:EnterDelay to 0.
The 3rd means you have to use LVZs. Download the toolkit from the shanky downloads. _________________ This help is informational only. No representation is made or warranty given as to its content. fuck you!
I already know firewalls, routers and proxies don't affect local loopback. (DUH!)
I have had this problem with localhost or 127.0.0.1 before so I recommended that. |

Only the paragraph you quoted (and the third one) affected you, you posted wrong information.
You're qouting the second paragraph of my post, but you're replying to the first paragraph; The first paragraph was meant for wEaViL ("duh"). |

Umm your wrong. I've proved this already. I had a bad setup on my router once and it would show me green then go to red right away. I just dont remember what setting it was that fooked it up |

Weavil, that only happens if you're not using the LAN IP with custom zone, which is what Solo is maniacally suggesting. |
