I can't even compile the examples with that compiler (I didn't use their makefile and stuff because if I can't write my own makefiles/bats then I can't even compile my own stuff). I get 2k exe's that illegal op. on running. |

1000? I think not.
Im sure its possible to compile with most of the other C++ compilers, but no one has taken the time to really try, as most have vc++. _________________ Hyperspace Owner

lol, maybe 1000 is a slight exaggeration , but it would be easier to use vc++ than to try to figure out how to do it with some other program |

@Nikon F5
What about the people with 56k's?
Or people that don't commit "terrorist activities"? |

there is only a pathetically minute compiler dirrefernce between VC++ and any other standard conforming compiler. Its just that VC++ has got a hugh IDE that makes it all a snap. Thats what you do (or dont) shell out the money for. Youre going to have to compile the plugin and make sure that it links it all together as a dll correctly. That could take some skill. Best advice: look at the docu. Its very possible, but a DOS window compiler ain't gonna hold your hand... _________________ Signatures just seem so quaint. |

Aargh! Hard copy evidence for the law..
BTW what libraries and stuff do you need to compile a merv plugin? Like MFC or any other acronyms you can come up with but are never included with free compilers (I haven't given up yet!).
Edit: typo |
