This might seem a bit of noob question (probably is) but I can't figure out what I've done wrong.
I've set up a server using server v1.34.14, and as far as I can tell I've done everything the same as last time I set up a server (years ago now though). Subgame2 connects to the billing server fine, and when I view it in my zone list in Continuum it's listed in green.
However, it already says that there's a player in the zone already, and no matter what client version I try to connect to it with it refuses, popping up an error asking me to check that I'm connected to the internet - which I am. It's hosted on my local machine at the moment so I can't understand how it needs an internet connection anyway. I've also checked to see if I can log onto other servers and that's not a problem.
Not sure if I described well enough, but I'm wondering if anyone else has seen this problem before and be able to tell me what it is I'm doing wrong? |

Have you tried adding a custom zone (with IP "127.0.0.1" and the port it's running on)?
If that doesn't help, post the errors that show up in the console windows here. |

Make sure favorite.lst is in your server folder. If not, go to the shanky server help site and download it there. |
