Something that is free (or a borrowed version of a program that costs money). I want to use it to complie mervbot plugins. And it has to be small, im on 56k here. I can do 100mb, but thats about the limit. Thanks, if you know any ones. |

I'm not going to say Dev-C++ is rubbish, but I haven't had much success with it and MERVBot plugins. |

That is because DEV-C++ is trying to compile the name of the outputted dll file. If you could possible email me a small dll you compiled under DEV-C++ with the source, i'll try and see the actual format it uses for the naming system, then i can give you guys a simple hack for the mervbot to be able to read either of the dlls without problems. |

MGB: Im not very good at DLLS. But, if someone wants to get Dev-C++ and do it for his, heres the link for Dev-C++ 5.0 (still beta testing i think, alot of errors i get) and Dev-C++ 4.0:

Just go to some computer fair and buy Microsoft's Visual C++ 6.0 Standard Edition, they go real cheap these days. _________________
