I have a problem with the bongs in my lvz. When i upload them in a lvz pack the bongs won't play in the public arena in zone. I think i put in the right filenames: bong31.wa2 .... etc. Also the new victoryl.wa2 won't update! Help!

could be that your sounds have the wrong quality. dunno exactly how it works but i think you'l need 8bit mono sounds or something... any higher then that and they will not play. Note that i am not sure of this. But you could try and decrease quality and check if it works then... Plus im not sure if there was a size limit... its been so long ago ... _________________

Did you re-enter the arena after you uploaded them? _________________ This help is informational only. No representation is made or warranty given as to its content. User assumes all risk of use. Cyan~Fire assumes no responsibility for any loss or delay resulting from such use.

you guys are wasting your time
Guy, attach a copy of the .lvz, then someone will make sure it's not badly-made. Then, assuming you have "misc:levelfiles=nameOfYour.lvz" in your .cfg and that you're using the proper server, client and lvz software, we'll know if you've entered the twilight zone (highly unlikely).

The twilight zone. Typically this is when you've done something weird, but that could nonetheless be fixed by a small fix in BuildLevel.exe .

Wait 128K? Are you sure you're not using MP3 or something here?

Make sure you have mod powers or have bongs turned on in the settings before you type %32. But since victoryl.wav isn't working either, I think you have the wrong file format.
I have to agree with CF here, 44khz is the highest I've seen a wav file.

I know this may be hard, but READ THE FOLLOWING:
ATTACH...THE .LVZ...TO...YOUR NEXT...POST
now, this could be equally hard, so I'll say DO THIS, TOO:
DO...WHAT...I...SAID...JUST...NOW

No but 128kb/s is an MP3 (or any compressed audio) bitrate. The bitrate for a wav is a constant much higher than that.

File downloaded or viewed 12 time(s)

Um, you can't make it wav just by changing the file extension. I can't open it in a wav player as it is not a wav file.

You are most likely using a generic media player, if you use a wav only player such as Recorder it won't play. If it plays in Recorder and the green wave form changes as the sound does, then it should work in ctm.

You've got a few options:
* Get a software convertor to change the mp3 to a wav file.
* Play the mp3 and at the same time use another program to record the sound (the best way of beating copy protection).
* Play the mp3 and record it using your stereo, then play it back using a mic plugged into your machine.

Winamp Pro can convert mp3 to wav, though it's a little weird.
Musicmatch does it easily, but that thing is annoying.

Winamp has always been able to do that for some time I think; just via a plugin, WaveOut or something.. _________________ Performance is often the art of cheating carefully. - James Gosling
