aight well I got all the things done with the router A o K! Cept.. 1

Weavil u know when u said u need to add subgame2, port number (15480) and the router Ip to custom applications for Linsys Router? well I got the subgame2.. here screenshot will help

ok on the left, should i put the port and ip address in separate boxes like subgame2, then fill in the info to their Right.. BTW -- the ip address does not fit into the box.. 192.168.1.101 (it doesn't let the last 1 in)

As long as your [Misc] Port in your server.ini is 15480, and your IP is 192.168.1.101 (can check by going to Start->Run, 'cmd', then 'ipconfig'), that screen shot (which GIF format is horrible for, use png next time please) says that it should be fine to have others connect to your zone.

What problem exactly are you having? Connecting to your own zone from the same machine? If so, edit your zones.dat so the IP address is 127.0.0.1.

If your using Windows XP, and have the internal firewall enabled, you need to bypass that. If using SP1, you'll have to turn it off. If using SP2, you can go the the Firewall control panel, and add in specific rules for subgame2 to allow all incoming connections and outgoing connections to work.

ping = 10.. cool..

i didn;t edit anytin.. i guess.. just close a few things and Bingo!

the problem that I was having was that zone was red when subbil/subgame2 were on.. so I thought I messed up with the router stuff..

all good now..
