The master plan (I love saying that; it just sounds so evil) for my zone involves an ongoing story. My idea is to have a major event every month or so. Zone players will be able to influence the premise of the major events through regular flagging. To give an example, one month, the players with the top five flag games won could be put on a freq, prized up, and then tasked with defending a big base (special map for the event) from the other players, perhaps in a turf-style game.
Now, I'm running MERVbot in Shard, so it would follow that I would like to use a MERVbot plugin to gather stats. Unfortunately, the link to Dustpuppy's StatsBot on catid's page is deprecated, and I know of no other such plugins. Are there any? If not, is anyone willing to take a crack at making one? It wouldn't have to do anything more than dump them to a text file; my sysops and I can take it from there. I looked at the plugin source, but it's Greek to me, so I figure asking is better than nothing. _________________ NTC Shard Owner
