Ok, so I have MERVbot set up all on my own. I enter as a regular player attempting to use spawnbot. I go across the warp coordinates, but nothing happens. When I check the terminal, MERVbot literally spams it with *warpto commands. Currently the bot is SMOD. Any ideas (like I really have to ask....)

I think you didn't put right tile #'s in the spawn.ini, recheck them. |

Of course they are correct. If they weren't correct, the bot wouldn't be trying to send me the *warpto command. Like I said, when I go over the tiles, the terminal gets filled with *warpto ### ### commands, but I don't get warped.
*updated*
I did finally get it. Some sort of problem in the Spawn.txt. The bot was getting logged in only 1/2 halfway and was not able to use it's SMOD powers.

Like I said, it works now. Here's what it looked like. I know you guys liked this stuff and maybe you can use it as sort of a DON'T DO THIS in later MERVBot FAQ's/Tutorials. See if you guys know what it was.
Before it worked:
On the Terminal:
Quote: |
Player spectating game: Purgatory-Bot
Wed Aug 25 23:51:56: Ext: Purgatory-Bot (Public 0): *<smodpw>
Wed Aug 25 23:51:56: Purgatory-Bot> SUPER MODERATOR LOGGED IN
Wed Aug 25 23:51:56: Ext: Purgatory-Bot (Public 0): *listmod
Wed Aug 25 23:51:56: Ext: Purgatory-Bot (Public 0) to Purgatory-Bot: *relkills

But then when I entered and tried to use warps:
Quote: |
Connection request from: Purg4tory
Player entering game: Purg4tory
Wed Aug 25 23:53:41: Ext: Purgatory-Bot (Public 0) to Purg4tory: *warpto 726 510
Wed Aug 25 23:53:42: Ext: Purgatory-Bot (Public 0) to Purg4tory: *warpto 726 510

Wed Aug 25 23:53:44: Ext: Purgatory-Bot (Public 0) to Purg4tory: *warpto 726 510
Wed Aug 25 23:53:45: Ext: Purgatory-Bot (Public 0) to Purg4tory: *warpto 726 510
Wed Aug 25 23:53:46: Ext: Purgatory-Bot (Public 0) to Purg4tory: *warpto 726 510
Wed Aug 25 23:53:47: Ext: Purgatory-Bot (Public 0) to Purg4tory: *warpto 726 510
Wed Aug 25 23:53:48: Ext: Purgatory-Bot (Public 0) to Purg4tory: *warpto 726 510
Connection status read as terminated: Purg4tory
|
I stopped it here. You can see that it just repeatedly used *warpto 726 510 over and over again, but I wasn't getting warped. Note: this is a recreation. I am trying to cut and paste what the terminal looked like before I fixed the problem.
Enjoy! (You guys are freaks about this stuff... like you get off on it or w/e...)
Tata!
