ok i wanted to make a very large lvz of a baseball field (tiles just weren't cutting it) and this thing needs to be huge. (i mean its got to cover pretty much most of the arena. the problem is i have no idea how to do this. how do i get a picture that big (ie wat program/software? ) and then once i have it that big what is the best way to present it in the arena (ie cut it up into pieces or use it as one big image) i wantred to use an lvz becuase i have to much to cover (i want to use a green background on the lvz for grass an brown on the infield for dirt) an i figured tiles would be laggy as hell. so if anyone has any ideas or suggestions I would greatly appriciate it.

Well for the grass.... I guess you could jsut tile all the back with the help of Tiled Majick
For the lines you could just just tiles. Hmm... bases just make seperate base lvz images (or tiles).
Yeah... once you get the bacground the rest should be easy. _________________ Catgirls aren't an obsession but a way of life!

You should be able to figure out a small set of images (128x128, 256x256, 512x512) that you can tile to fill the entire arena. Most of it will be empty grass. The infield I suppose you'll need many different pieces. You could also add some imperfections (smaller images with divets etc) that you scatter all over the field to make it look less repetitive. _________________ 4,691 irradiated haggis!

you could prolly make the dimaond out of 4 equal triangles of opposite proportions(mostly, some extra for the bases. but....if its going to be as large as the whole map that wouild make for a alot of lvz on screen at once, you might want to use something more like a stretched trapeziod shape, of alternating end angles, 2 for each side of the box.... if that makes any sense at all... eheh.

what i plan to do is make a pattern for the grass (like they use on the big league ballparks). i'm not quite sure what tiledmajik does since theres no readme so i don't know what to do with that.also is there somethig i can use to make a giant picture of the field and cut it up into pieces (or something like that?). the field inself is gonna look like this
with the o being the mound to give u a slight picture of wat its suppossed to look like. so ya the grass an dirt are probably gonna be lvz but everything else can be tiled. mr ekted can i get a little more clarifcation on your post because i'm not quite sure what your meaning. thanksguys for the help
