Server Help

-This text guide has been made obsolete by my INICheck program-
I would recommend you use that instead. (You may also use Solo Ace's and Dustpuppy's web-based version.)

This guide assumes you are running both biller and server on your own computer, and that you are using Catid's biller.
Values in [] are you own choice. If it has a letter in it, then this value should stay the same throughout the INIs. Different variables should also have different values.
Example: You want [X] to be "secretpw". Then replace all [X]s with "secretpw".
Text in ()s are the problems fixed by changing this.

Now for the guide:

Check this first if you are behind a router!

Server <-> Biller relations

To fix the problem "This name does not have permission...", you need a version1 folder in your server directory with the newest version of 'continuum.exe' renamed to 'subspace.exe'.

PS: This is a guide for server newbies. I know some of this information is incorrect in some cases. If you notice that, then you're good enough to figure out problems yourself

Post here if you have any easy fixes to those kind of problems.

The thing is is that the zone was up before but the invalid pass started, i tryed the FAQ thing but still it happen... Mine go boom suggested I DLed the Server SSBilling2 and tryied it... SubGame2 couldnt connect... deleted SubBill.exe... Dont work... RENAMED SSBilling2 TO SubBill..... STILL CANT CONNECT! WHAT AM I DOING WRONG?!?!?!

Have you actually run my program yet? I made this so that people didn't need individual help but could actually 'figure out' things on their own.

i tried making a zone and i open my subbill.exe and subgame2.exe and it says connected to server and all of that so everything looks just fine but when i try to go into my zone it says blah blah blah this server is offline blah blah or maybe your not connected to the internet (but i am cause im on this site ^_^)and stufff like that :S

Sometimes for my zone, it appears red to people but if they remove it from the list and add it again, it will be green again. What is the source of this problem?

You need to open the port your server connects to your biller on, +1 port number above it.

I'm sure people choose to take a web-based checker rather than something they have to download.
