For my map I need to know all the settings for the map.
Example: at top the status of a person for spectators and wormholes - how effective is it and what ship gets sucked into it
Where can I see all the settings? |

Well, you're in the wrong category. May I also recommend, to go read up on www.shanky.com/server/ before posting again. It'll answer your questions. _________________ Performance is often the art of cheating carefully. - James Gosling |

if you have a zone up, and you're the arena owner or a sysop, hit ESC-C (or type ?getsettings) _________________

... First off, I'm not going to take time to decipher your posts. Second, if you don't take the time to look around existing help post's then... thats your own issue. |

I honestly don't mind, but these type of questions have gone up two-fold over the last week; well I guess I could not respond at all.. :-/ |

If you just want to make a map, don't worry about the settings!
if you want to change the map:
go to subspacedownloads.com click editors and download SSME
then click open, continuum/zones/SSCU Trench Wars/base.lvl then make the changes and do save as. send that file to TW staff
if you want to change the tileset:
goto subspacedownloads.com click editors and download TileEdit
then click open, continuum/zones/SSCU Trench Wars/base.lvl then make the changes and do save. take that file (base.lvl), copy it to something with a different name and send the copy to TW staff. |

There are no settings for maps. Settings are for servers and stored in .cfg files. Maps just store information about the arrangment of tiles and have the .lvl filetype. _________________ Expect the worst but hope for the best. |

yeah, there aren't settings that are actually for the map itself, you'd have to get a hold of a server.cfg and edit it from there, and since you dont seem to have a zone of your own, you'll probably have to edit the .cfg from notepad or whatever you use. |
