When I hit "Play" my computer tells me that the password is wrong or the username is take. What do I do, the username is not taken, because I have tried many names, and the password is right! |

It means what it says. The name is taken or the password is wrong. If you're trying to create an account, try a very random sequence, and if it's your own, you've just got the wrong password. _________________ This help is informational only. Correct me if I wrong... I assume he's talking bout in his zone. And i remember something about the 1st name created sometimes messes up and you have password problems and the fix for it was to delete the user.dat file "I think" not sure... someone here might have a better memory then me. |

I've never heard of these issues :/ other than the account was already in use (created) by someone else.. _________________ Performance is often the art of cheating carefully. - James Gosling |

Oh, yes, if you append your staff password to your user password on your first account creation, then it will save the entire string as your password. That will, however, only affect your first account? |

Correct, on the account creation it'll take the whole password string and store it; with the staff password appended. I've made this mistake many many times and had to change the password in game, then... go back to the profile and append it.. :-p |

If it's your own zone and biller, and it says wrong password, just re-enter and it will work. Only problem is then loads of people have the same userid (scores get messed up). I get this all the time and I never append any passwords to my profile, I even made sure the account names weren't in the sysopt.txt, smod.txt, etc. |
