Im looking for a plugin that will take 4 (or more) flags that are randomly placed, and move them to set locations. I know this is possible, such as in MG -- but im unsure which plugin to use to accomplish it, most of the plugins don't list it as a feature and there is about 6 different "flagbots" which are really not too helpful in their descriptions.
Anyone know which plugin to use?
Gracias

Do you want the flags to be picked up (like in MG)?
If not, then use Flag:FlagMode=2 in your CFG and place the flags on your map with SSME.
If so, I don't know of any existing plugins that do that (except for CTF, but that's only with 1 flag), maybe someone else here does. _________________ This help is informational only. Well the idea is to have them picked up, but have the flag timer set to about 1 milisecond so essentially theyll fall where theyre picked up.
I think i have it, i got flagmover 4.0 and FACTS, got the bmp but now i have a question about that --
can i color over the purple borders or do I need to leave them? And what if my zone isn't using the full map -- do i need to color the entire "blank" area of the map white as well?

Whats the point of a 1 milisecond pickup? Most bots can handle when a turf flag was caputered and by whom. _________________ There are no stupid question, but there are many inquisitive idiots.

Really? I was unaware of that -- ive never seen death star battle have an end =/
How would this work? If I had two turf flags, would holding both = win?

i made a bot like this, you set the coords and the bot would drop the flags. Problem is, with more flags the greater chance that the bot makes mistakes. For some reason, the bot likes to follow people even though following is turned off. When everyone is spec'd, the bot seems to work fine, i havent been able to figure out the problem.
Take a look at the source, i couldnt find a problem. I tried it 2 ways, for the bot to grab the flags then spec and to come down for each flag. Both ways seemed to have the same results
Edit: This isnt a ctf bot

You could make it win throught a Bot or plugin for a bot (mervbot, powerbot, twcore, etc..), the bot will just compare the amount of turf flags captured to the amount of flags in the game, if they are equal, it could do a win, reward players using the command *points.
SOS made a plugin that did this for a zone he made long time ago.

Well is anyone up to making that sort of bot? Plody? Since you never did ever do my Rogue Trader bot ;]
I'd reallllyyy appreciate it, got a great idea for a zone and this is well -- the most vital part. Its a paintball zone, which for some reason doesn't exist... so you can see where static turf flags would come in handy

Plody! Im personally offended.
You said it, and i quote, "could be the best zone in SS -- if you get a good bot"
at which point I asked if you could work on the bot and you laughed. It was hosted by SSI... Pfft, you suck, that was going to be the greatest zone ever ;]

I remember it. You would have been closed down by SOE the second you got more than 10 players. _________________ Hyperspace Owner

I got a question: how do you get TWCore to send a flag picked up packet?
EDIT: nm, there is a grabFlag function in BotAction, its just not in the API _________________
