1) Convert the image to PNG format.

2) Use tiledmajick to make an LVZ with the background tiled.

3) Upload and change your levelfiles as detailed by Akai in your other post.

download lvztoolkit

extract contents

download tiledmajick

extract contents

run TiledMajick.exe

input width and height (in pixels) of your image

press the "DO IT" button

a file named "output.txt" will be generated
open output.txt in a text editor (notepad)

add the following ABOVE EVERYTHING ELSE:

Quote:
outfile=nameOfYourChoice.lvz

file=yourimagename.xxx

[objectimages]
image0=yourimagename.xxx

[mapobjects]

replace "xxx" with the file extension of your image (can be .bmp, .gif, .jpg or .png)

save "output.txt" as "nameOfYourChoice.ini"

make sure your image and nameOfYourChoice.ini are in the SAME directory

run BuildLevel.exe (from lvztoolkit)
browse for file box will open - find and select nameOfYourChoice.ini
this should (if there are no errors) create a .lvz file in the same directory as the .ini and image - it will be named whatever you had specified in outfile= of the .ini file

place your .lvz file into your Continuum directory

go into your zone

type "*getfile server.cfg" (or any .cfg file of your choice)-(need sysop)

type "*putfile nameOfYourChoice.lvz"

open server.cfg (in your Continuum directory)

find and set (or add) "levelfiles=nameOfYourChoice.lvz" (separate multiple values with commas -> eg. "Levelfiles=ships.bm2,nameOfYourChoice.lvz")

save changes

type "*putfile server.cfg" in-game

that should do it - enter or re-enter the arena whose .cfg you've been messing with and you should download and see your background image
