'EVENT_SoccerGoal:' doesn't react to goals. is there some .cfg settings that enable it? anyone else had a problem with this, or should i just copy my code to a new merv template?

and

p->xradar only tells me if they have xradar on, is there any easy way to just see if they have it?

but that first question is the one that really has me stuck

EVENT_SoccerGoal works fine for me.
And, no, I'm pretty sure you can't tell if someone has xradar, as that is handled by the client.

there's got to be some way to tell if they have xradar

I can think of one, but it's far out

(have bot take screenshot and analyze it to see if the xradar icon exists

As to the goal problem, try running catid's soccer plugin and see if it works. If it does then you're doing something wrong.
