i can not believe, all of you pansies mgb solo ace cerium, u are all programmers, and you still don't know how to memory hack, and ask a jew like chambah to figure out how to do a simple memory hack? it takes me 5 seconds to find the addresses i need, and another 5 to get unlimited everything

"don't know how to memory hack".

Don't make me laugh, script kiddie. What you do is not difficult and your validation seeking is only going to end with you getting ripped on.

Enjoy patting yourself on the back for cheating in a 10 year old 2d spaceship game, choad.

I never said I'm a programmer, actually. I'm a full-time student without enough time on my hands to learn anything about "memory hacking".

How am I a Continuum "worker"? I don't even play the game. Heh, I don't even have it installed anymore. Plus, I never tried.

Why are you crying?

Wow, yanno what happens when you make an assumption right? Yeah, you just made an ass out of yourself icon_smile.gif. Congrats man!! Oh and yeah I read the topic that started your thread and your a moron!! He asked for someone to tell him how to memory hack and he got picked on... Nobody said they didn't know how to memory hack till now and noone listed claimed they knew how to, so basicaly you just shown everyone on this board exactly how stupid and ignorant you are, congrats again! icon_smile.gif

Oh and go ahead and try to bash me or whatever. Find one post where I have said I am a programer or that I can memory hack.... You wont becuase I could care less about either one.

I program every now and then and I know how to do a few memory hacks, but you don't see me going into tw and using them. Memory hacking makes the game boring (until you get netbanned). Don't use hacks. It will get you no where but bang.sscentral.com.

Yet you use it in the small zones where newbs are trying to find there place. BD, stop talking on this forum, you are a waste of bandwidth.

And Bypass...like Cerium said, why are you so impressed with yourself hacking a 2d spaceship game. One that is totally free and really easy to learn. I bet you feel real proud. Good job, you hacked a program that hasn't been updated in 4+ years!

CE doesn't wine right on Linux. Also, all I had to do was *getfile and esc c to do what I did. I never once used a cheat program. You're an idiot.

no i mean some programmers here are good well i heard only about solo, some other guy the i cant remember but, he make like 100 modules for ASSS its just not that hard to block hakers, like in hyperspace when i used to play it i hacked the shit out of it and played for good hour then got banned, after getting SSC banned i had to change name but still hacked i mean its not that hard especialy with ASSS to do something like if you have 5000% shield u get banned or if you have super which doesnt count down or if bullet hits u 3 in a row and ur health doesnt change? or what if u shoot those bombs decoys with 0 delay? or if u got no flags and shoot lvl 4 bombs and bullets i mean i dont give a shit but continuum is going to hell, oh yea that guy that made lots of modules i r emember he is Smong

  4. if u got no flags and shoot lvl 4 bombs and bullets

Since I know IRC doesn't support paragraphs, I'll break up your message a bit for you and answer them.
  1. 5000% shields/unlimited super can be detected as a cheat, as the server can determine how long you should have shields, and when you should get it as you'd send green packets. As of right now, this is your only 'cheat' that isn't protected against yet, though could be with ASSS as you mentioned.
  2. If you lag a bit, those bullets could easily have missed you. This is a flaw with the design of Subspace, in that clients determine damage. You can do probability work and determine if someone is adjusting their damage, but it will either be too lax or catch people who are not cheating. This cannot be protected against with any game that lets each client determine its own damage.
  3. CheckFastBombing has been in subgame since 2001. If you do this in a game and are not instantly kicked, it just means the zone's sysop doesn't have it turned on.
  4. As the protocol only allows you to send L0-L3 weapons, this is impossible. You can have L4 shrapnel, if you set your shrapnel level to 0 and have a shrapnel count as this is a bug in the client, but shooting a L0 weapon will not be interpreted by the clients. So, on your screen it maybe L4, but not to everyone else.

A game that is rarely updated and is supported by the community only will have cheating. This is a flaw that cannot be removed. If you want to talk about anything specific dealing with Continuum, feel free to post. If you want to talk about cheating in general, there are other forums that would better suit you.

Best of luck in life, I have a feeling you'd need it.

If CE doesn't wine on linux correctly, then how the hell can I use it in small zones? Maybe you should read.

uuumm....i think i have seen this done.
I could explain my theory, but not on a public forum. (as i have never done it in practice, but have seen it happen)
I have seen many odd things happen when people use CE. The most interesting one is cloning freqs.

Someone the CE'er would cone himself to the other teams freq on his client. To him, he is on their team, to the opposing freq that CE'er was not on the same team. When CE'er attaches, they look like a floating ship..similar to when you have MERV fallow you in game. You can shoot the CE'er, but he takes no damage as on his screen he doesn't get hit. This one fooled me as i had *watchdamage on and nothing was being reported back.

That is a nice trick.

You're talking about the people who are in spec and in a ship at the same time. All they have to do is hit tab and attach to anyone like they would if they wanted to spec on someone. Old news.

No, sry bd, that is not how it is done at all. You need CE to pull it off.

And i was explained how it was done.
Not at all how you explained.

I'm not sure about this, maybe you got it the wrong way round. The client can send L4 guns and bombs. It can also receive L4 shrap, however this is probably translated to L3 shrap since there is no L4 shrap graphic.

Ignore BD. He likes to throw out info that's dead wrong and pat himself on the back for enlightening everyone.

The issue sketter mentioned can happen without the use of CE, though it's incredibly rare. It makes for all sorts of problems if you're trying to actually play, though.

A guy on a different freq attached to me and he told me how he was doing it once. He said he was in spec and a ship at the same time so it didn't matter. It didn't say player attached or anything. Sounds a lot like spec to me.

Let me tello u how it "looked" from my end.

Both players were on different freqs.
All of a sudden "hacker" is hovering over "player".
Where ever the players moves, the hacker would stick with him, just like how merv does it.
Even to the player, he looks like he is on another freq.

Player shoots, no damage taken by the hacker.
Hacker shoots, players takes damage and dies.

I was led to believe this was done by changing to your opponents freq in CE.
Making it (to the hacker) on the same team, but to everyone else, your not.

Most bots that I've seen will send the exact same position/time and maybe speed as yours when they received. Thus that increases the jumpiness. If I recall correctly, Continuum will do the same for spec positions.
