Post subject: Administrative Control Panel

Well today I was board so I made a little porgram where you can control stuff on your computer by pressing a button. Its not malicious eaither.

Features V1.1:
- CD open/close
- Show IP Address
- Disable Ctrl + Alt + Del (not ready yet)
- Shut Down computer
- Restart computer
- Log Off computer
- Stand by computer (not ready yet)
- Own Icon

V1.2
- Disable Ctrl + Alt + Del
- Stand By (still doesent work...)
- Lock Program
- Lock Comp
- Show Hostname
- Show Curser
- Hide Curser

Thats all I have so far and this is only in beta stages. I plan to add more to it. I will take any suggestions for future features. Please report any bugs. Anyways, hope you guys enjoy it. I will post future updates to it also.

EDIT: Version 1.2 Realesed! Sorry it took so long, i kinda put the project behind for a bit. But I finally realesed it and I am releasing the source. Enjoy it!

Well I wasent going to realese it... but hell.. why not. Just for you BaK =).

EDIT: Its late.. and I cant find it.. i will keep looking.
EDIT2: Well somehow.. my source code got screwed up =\. So when I make my next version I will realese the source. I have to remake it but it shouldent be to hard. Im sorry I couldent give it to you. Hope you enjoy the program though.

Funny little program

Already checked what CD drive closes/open when you have more then one?
Why would you ever want to disable ctrl+alt+del?

Because he can. Plus something people may try and get on your pc while your on continuum and they use ctrl + alt + del to get out of continuum. I on the other hand use a password and umm I have 4 computers so I don't have that issue.

Why do you need 6 computers

? Disabling ctrl + alt + del is useful sometimes. One example is what BDwinsAlt said. Hopfully I can add more today seeing as im going to redo the whole thing (not like I have much of a choice).

I said that because I leave the continuum window open and then my screensaver takes over in about 10 minutes. That way if my mom gets on my pc she can't try and see what I've been doing. (I hate clearing my cookies after I visit certain places) I get a lot of warez and it has porn on the side so she'd get the wrong Idea. "Free XXX passwords" all over the screen isn't helping either. So I have to keep my pc secure. Nosy parents.

Ya lol. That happens to me to when i look for warez and serials. Im still trying to get the disable/enable ctrl + alt + del down.. Hopfully I can get it today.

Yay, some off-topicness.

I think the idea she's getting is anything but wrong, and I think you're just trying to be cool by saying how many computers you have.
Really, we don't care, plus there are enough people on these forums who have more.

When I looked for warez/serials, which was until a few years ago, I never got problems like those. You must be doing something wrong.

Uhm, and... your parents are pathetic.
If they really care so much, why do they allow you to have an internet connection/computer anyway?
It's not like it's wrong to watch porn at your age, I'm pretty sure at least 80% of all males at your age who have access to the Internet have been watching porn.
A few years later it won't excite you anymore anyway. Besides, it's not like the net can do any harm, and maybe it's good for you to see some shocking things.

Won't close my CD tray... and Administrative is spelled incorrectly.

the cd tray ejects for me. It's actually a combo drive so.... it works for Drive E: I did see something very simular to this once. It didn't have the ip feature or the ctrl alt del disabler. It did have the open and close buttons. Nice work. Can we have the source once it's done? I think that would be cool.

Well it is sorta wierd how your parents dont trust you. I have my computer in my room and my parents dont even use it. They use my step dads.

On topic: I will be finishing up soon.. I havent had much time on the computer latley so hopfully I can get some work done. As soon as I finish this version I will be realesing the source.

I'm starting to think, that this a secret message...

If you ever admin a Phpbb forum, when your logged in as a admin, you have a Go to Administration Panel link, to go to the good old section of the forums. But assassins program is really not a control panel for a admin on a windows computer, since any user can do these tasks...
Well, maybe I'm just thinking too hard and I'll hurt myself, or ass is asking for staff or something? lol

BTW, ass, if your running a Windozes 9x series, why would you ever want to disable the Alt+Ctrl+Del thing (I don't really know, if they have it in the 9x's)?

I dont know why I called it that but it sounded like a good name at the time. No I dont want staff I just wanted to get my programming skillz up. Also I have windows XP home edition and thats what I made it for.
