Yeah, some people across the street from me have "Thanksgiving lights" up. Yellow and dark orange lights with a bunch of turkey ornaments everywhere. icon_sad.gif

Hey.. Its nice that people are getting into the Christmas/Hanukah/Kwanza spirit.. Atleast its peacful instead of destructive.

What day is Christmas on YOUR calender?
Last time I checked, it's currently 19th November, not December.

Yea, so? When did I ever say it wasn't too early? Read my entire post. What you said was highly redundant.. You need to stop trying to rebut everything I say with a stupid comment.

Christmas is based on the Christian religion which is responsible for more deaths than almost any other factor in history. There's your peace.

Wtf? This topic is about someone putting their lights up too early. You always seem to forget the topic don't you?
It's not a stupid comment btw. If you ever came up with something that actually suggested it was, I'd be glad to hear it.

In the mean time, go away.

We put up lights around now. Because any later and the roof is covered with snow.

Or at least Christianity served as the excuse.

Care to back that up? I just did a little research, and your statement doesn't hold water. The crusades come to mind first, and the death toll from those doesn't even compare to that of the world wars (which had very little to do with religion, Christian or otherwise).

I had to laugh at that.

A quick Google yielded a death toll of approxamatly 55 million for the second world war.

I would guess that sickness, hunger, or even old has probably killed more people than Christianity

I'd guess Facism and Communism has killed more, as well.

And I like christmas lights.
