How do i create a bot? exactly? I know you need some prior programming experience, and a zone of course, but what else?
I have some experience with Java programming, and a little in C++.

First of all... if you're using the ASSS server, you don't need bots, you need modules. Bots are only useful on subgame servers.
Second, there are already a LOT of bot plugins out there. Check the 'Quick links to bot' thread stickied on this forum, and you might find what you need, without 'creating' anything.
To 'run' a bot, you need to get a bot core, or bot client (such as MervBot, written in c++). Then you need 'plugins' that are loaded on the bot that do stuff.
The 'Quick links to bot' thread has some tutorial threads for creating a plugin. Also, you can grab some plugins with source (MMaverick's site has some good ones with src) and look around them to learn how it works.
