Sadly, they were not bots, they were real people. Went nice and slow, loaded images, browsed around the site a bit, and made the post. Then his friend at the same ISP went directly to the link and made the username. He even attempted to log in with his new password incorrectly once. When he went to make his post, he even previewed it before posting (I assume to make sure the link would work?).

Can't stop people like that... Google shows them having thousands of posts elsewhere.

Or just do nothing to make registration difficult and continue to delete the posts when they show up. No sense making it hard for actual users to post.

Have a flash game of Tetris load, and you must get at least 1000 points to register!

Have a livechat module thingy, and the system must detect someone moving on the user's webcam!

Have 1000 random words written all over the registration page, and the user has to decypher a code through it all, DavinciCode-style!

Really interesting... I love how they explain how they hijacked spammers to replace them with their own less-harmful spam.
