The same thing happened with SSForum. Same guest user name advertising the same products, too.

That is because this is one of the captcha-paid spam bots. Looking at the logs, it digs and flys around the site like a normal spam bot, but pauses for 10-20 seconds before it submits the post.

Once I get a bit of time, I'll enable the spam bot IP filter that I mentioned about in a previous announcement. Since I started it, only one "poster" has successfully posted that is on that blocking list, which has been this catpcha-paid bot. I'l just have it mention that "you are blocked for spam, email me for help or register to post" like I do for some other spam poster here...

Dogsintagog (24.235.210.102) posted stuff similarly to the Mazzurbaf one... It could very well try to get here tongue.gif

It is a dynamic post that runs a query every page load.
