ASSS Questions - Does the ASSS site have a mirror? Bak - Fri Apr 03, 2009 4:05 am Post subject: Does the ASSS site have a mirror?
I can't access the user guide (http://asss.yi.org/asss/files/userguide.html) because the site is down.

I've heard a lot about the AS3 site going down a bunch of times. For that matter, do you think it would be a good idea if I hosted a mirror of it through BlueToast Webhosting for free (and without advertisements, of course)?
EDIT :: Maybe asss.hlrse.net and asss.bluetoast.org, or asmallsubspaceserver.com/net/org, or asss.mobi? Or asss.subdir.net?
But yeah, the website is always offline for me. Unless I connect via VM+Linux, then for some reason it works fine.

I've been discussing with Grel, and I'm going to be taking over managing new releases of ASSS. Part of that will be moving the site to a more stable location. You can expect these changes to start happening after the end of the spring semester.

Also, the userguide can be found in the asss/doc folder

It's missing from the Windows version, but you can find it in the Linux one. Anyhow, I've attached all the doc files in case anyone else needs em.
