For those that care, wormholes exert the following delta velocity on players:
A = 1000*gravity/dist^2
A_x = A*delta_x/dist
A_y = A*delta_y/dist
dist, delta_x and delta_y are all in pixels. (dist^2 = delta_x^2+delta_y^2)
Acceleration has units of velocity per tick, or (pixels/10sec)/tick.
According to my testing the R=1.325*(g^.507) isn't accurate. The radius for the top speed effect is just where A < 1. So R=1.976*(g^.5).

Looks good. If you'd like, throw it into the Physics section of the wiki.

good work.

So... it would be possible to have wormholes apply very little gravity, but still give a huge speed bonus?
Interesting

That's how we've been doing the hypertunnels in HS for years and years.

I thought the gravity was more significant in the formula, and that it was just not very apparent because you had wormholes on each side
