was catid a hacker (like cheating in zones) and did zones hate him since i read this http://www.mervbot.com/files/BanG.txt and Catid talks about him bypassing bans from zones ;\

Oddly enough, it's due to the a few big cheaters that Subspace became what it is today.

Twister lead us to BanG and Continuum.
And Catid, well he wrote MERVBot and a new billing server.

If I recall correctly, Catid is still netbanned on SSC.

He made a program once that exploited a hole in the biller. Upon running it the program would knock a list of zones offline as defined by a .ini

I thought it was funny until the 4th zone on the list was my own. I was just like..OHSHI-

I only ran it once though as I actually cared about the game back then.

Catid is still netbanned from SSC, but he bypassed it and used to come on all the time aliased a couple months ago. I think now hes just MIA. Well, not entirely, hes still on AIM.

Edit: HAHA i just noticed MIA backwards is AIM....funny.

well bypassing is easy and I'm pretty sure if he could knock down zones he could bypass a ban, but i mean wouldn't you be happy if catid played in your zone? he pretty much made continuum ALLOT better, how shitty would it be without bots?
