ok this probably has the simplest answer in the world I am just overlooking it but here goes.
I am trying to disablescreenshot in an arena. I had believed that the setting was 1=yes 0=no for disabling but this does not seem to be working. this is a 4.0 server and the setting is for a private arena not the entire server.

I think disabling screenshot only affects people in game. Specators can always screenshot

Indeed, that's what it also says on the wiki.

It used to be that people could either crash their client, or lag it enough by taking a screenshot while playing to bypass a kill. Or, was it the VIE clients the only one having this issue? I can't remember.

I know about spec taking screenshots what I am trying to do is set the disable I have an event that involved bombs and shrap mostly and 1 or 0 does not disable. and yes players are still avoiding deaths in games with screenshots. usually being levved off a wall by a jav or wb at close range can still avoid the damage.

don't know why it didn't take the first time I tried it but it is working now
