Okay. First off. Ima noob. I suck at life. And I can't figure this out. Even after five years of using this conflabbed contraption.
I try to connect to SSCI Devastation. I get this error message:
Failed to connect to server. Check to make sure the server is online (it should appear yellow or green in the zone list) and that you are currently connected to the internet. If problem persists, seek help at the Tech Support Forums found at www.subspacehq.com.
I can connect to any other server on my zones list and through chat I know people are in Deva. Like 10 or so. And I'm the only one that can't get in. In the entire subspace universe. Any ideas?

Have you tried several different Continuum versions? Like 0.38, 0.39pr1 and 0.40 ?
It's also possible that the port the zone is running on (port 10000) is blocked by a firewall or your ISP. Try turning off your firewalls temporarily (just to test if that's is causing the problem).
If your ISP is blocking it then there isn't much you can do.

is the zone green in the zone list?
Anonymous - Thu Nov 01, 2007 4:55 am Post subject: Wow!
Okay seriously. Yes I have refreshed my zone list. Yes the zone is green. I'm not a noob. Wow. I cannot believe I was asked those questions. I have entered the zone before under the same circumstances so that is not the problem.

Probably not a good test but does the trace to the zone show anything unusual?
EDIT: nvm, the zone is green so the trace would go ok.

does the zone stay green or does it turn red after you have continuum open for over 10 seconds?
