Can some one tell me how to make it so when you insert an object to the map the weapons and ships bounce off the image. I have tried every layer!!!!

Put the image in the "aftertiles" layer . Then put tiles under the image.

I tried using "aftertiles", what do you mean by putting tiles "under" the image? Its basicaly a small asteroid field.

You put tiles on the map to make sure ships and weapons can't go through the object, then place the LVZ object over it to give it a different appearance.
If you want an asteroid field, use the asteroids? Lol.

Get DCME, and use the asteroids airbrush... that'll make you a nice asteroids field
But to answer your question, LVZ images are just IMAGES, they will not interact with ships or weapons or anything in any way... So if you want an image to appear to be solid, you have to hide tiles under it. You can use one of the extra tiles (tile nr 200 or so) to have solid transparent tiles. DCME or CLT will allow you to lay these kind of tiles
