Bot Questions - Merve plugin Jmunky85 - Fri Aug 10, 2007 10:57 pm Post subject: Merve plugin
Is there a merve plugin that allows you to set a disignater area, so that when a player goes over it there s a message that can be sent privae or public. I wouldalso need this bot to be able to PM the player so that he / she could be prized when going over that area. Let me know, thanks!

I could swear TMBaw can do that. If not it shouldn't be too hard to edit it to do that.

I think the message bot plugin can do this.

ok thanks guys! MY only other question, if the bot is a sysop can it "/*prize" in the "EnterMessage0=" area?

Try it and see? I've never used it myself.

Hmm, this may have to do the trick. Is it possible to have a plugin that will send a message when a certain ship, from a specific freq, passes over a tile area?

If you edit the source, yes.

on the TM baw warp bot i has the messaging commands i need, but the only freqs are -1, public, -2 private, or -3 any \one. Is it possible to specific a specific freq to ward in an are with this?

Just put the freq in. It's supposed to be understood that you can put those negative numbers in addition to standard freqs.

I add this and it did not work?
[Warp1]
FromX1=819
FromY1=320
FromX2=822
FromY2=328
ToX=800
ToY=289
Ship=6
Freq=0
PubAction0=*Arena message
PrivAction0=

Did you try this with the Weasel or the Lancaster? Ship numbers start at 0 for Warbird in MERVBot, it probably uses the same numbering in the INI. (Can't check because I'm at work.)
