I noticed how fast the forums were going earlier. I don't know the problem but I wanted you to be aware (MGB).

Here is a trace I did on Cypher's zones.

I just can't get any luck, can I? I noticed that as well, I'm recording minutely pings to my server. Sucks that it isn't anything on my end, the server hasn't even hit 0.3% of it's capacity (CPU or disk IO) unless I'm benchmarking it or compiling stuff.

I'll try and inquire tomorrow about what the hell went on. I mean, my server is only 150 feet from huge 'tubes' to the internet. I do need to inquire about getting them to set the reverse DNS entries for my IPs.

I do like the average ping times for me.

It happend again at 3am Central time. I had 640 ms and the zone kept flickering red and green every few seconds. I couldn't even trace it this time. The forums wouldn't load for 15 minutes. I hope they can come up with some good answers. Don't let them take your money! Let them know you are not happy. The customer is always right. Maybe they will fix it. Good luck! icon_wink.gif

You think you get awesome speeds? How about me from work:

Then again, I do have a 100mbps connection to the server from work as it is literally across the street from this building.

Lol, at Verizon Wireless, we have 2 separate OC 192's coming in for our internet, and far more cabling inside the building. If I remember right, they've never even hit half capacity, no matter what kind of crazy amounts of cell phone data they're copying places - even during the switch cut last year(moving all data and connections from one switch to another). That doesn't really mean as much for actual connection to the rest of the internet, I guess, but it's still damn fast.
