I'd guess it's a fake.
On a slighty related note, my sister has a picture of a sign outside a bathroom near here. It's bi-lingual for all those Mexicans invading us in the South. Anyway, in English it says something like wash your hands or something normal like that. But in Spanish, it says "Please leave all merchandise outside of restroom." What, they think only Mexicans are going to steal?
