Bot Questions - Sub Arena

Post subject: Sub Arena

I want to make a sub arena called "elim"

I used the <?makearena elim> command, which worked, but if I exit the zone, and re-enter, the sub arena has gone. How do I get around this? Arena mode is set at "4" and the elim.cgf and elim.lvl are in the server file where they should be...

Secondly how do I get my elimbot to enter this arena.

Help would be greatly appreciated, thanks.

I'm not sure about the first part, but to make the bot go to the arena, you would have to pm the bot
!go <arenaname>

in your case pm the bot, !go elim

or if its a mervbot:
change the default arena in spawn.txt to elim.

You probably want ArenaMode=5. It's pretty much the only setting that makes any sense.

But I'm not sure exactly what you mean. You mean that when everybody leaves the arena, it doesn't show up on the list? That's just how Continuum works.

I followed the instructions on shanky... elim.lvl and elim.cfg are in the server file... but I can't access the sub arena so I have to use ?makearena elim, this works but disappears after I leave, that's the problem.

Seriously, how did you screw that up? Next to the name in the posts, it has a nice big bold statement saying you are a guest user. And above the post/preview button, you have to check a box that acknowledges that you are posting as a guest user, otherwise it gives you an error stating you need to check it.

Which you logged in and made a reply anyways.. holding it in the clipboard wasn't that much more effort.

Beyond ArenaMode=5, like suggested before, there isn't anything else to say. What is your subgame output look like? When you say others can't join it, if they type ?go elim what happens to them? Want to copy/paste your server.ini file here inside [code] tags, with the passwords blanked out?

It might be edited to reduce the size. Since not even the default map is specified.

Have you restarted the server since you changed the arena mode?

Have you tried ASSS?
