Post subject: victory music doesnt work

thats what is in my ini, it succesfully compreses into lvz, i puted it in my server folder, and when i play the game it has the default victory music not the one i picked.

i atached the lvz there with ini and the wav file chek it and help me please

Step 1) When attaching LVZ files, just attach the LVZ file directly. You don't need to include the copy of the "wav" file with it, as it is included in the LVZ. You don't even really need your ini as people can just extract that information from the LVZ file as well, but doesn't hurt to upload and you can upload that as a second file.

Step 2) Reread this thread

Step 3) After rereading that thread, listen to what they said. MP3 files don't work. Your victoryl.wav file was still an MP3 file, just renamed.

Step 4) Instead of actually doing anything above, just download the attached file for a correct version of what you need. It is a large file, so I'd recommend making it an optional LVZ file.

Step 5) Listen to the song and notice that this shouldn't even be included as a zone's victory music. A two meg file does not buffer well in Continuum and isn't that great of a victory music as is. Dropping the hertz to save on size make it sound like ass because it has voices. Plus, when picking music like this, you should know that not everyone's music taste is the same, and this does not work well with those that don't care for it. Something that is just music should be used, as then it can be more easily ignored by those that don't care for it and enjoyed by those that do.

Don't forget to add victoryl.lvz to the [Misc] LevelFiles setting in server.cfg.

Edit: er nevermind the log shows you already did that.
