i'm sure you can find plenty of them on google...
and noone would "make" sounds anyway... they'd just google them

there are some sites with tons of various sound effects

Let me give you a tip:
Start Sound recorder, and have fun with any wav files you download...
"putting sounds together" could mean anything, noone knows what you want to do with these sounds, how many different BOOOM sounds you need, how many TAK-A-TAKA-ATATKATKJTAKJ PRRRRT PSHHHHHHHHHHH POOOW sounds you need...
I could easily take the sounds folder of any war game I have that has all its sounds in wav, make a big zip file, and send them to you... but that wouldnt get you much further. And no I won't do it.

Install any old MOH/COD games you have and take their sounds.

Actually, I've reccorded some before. It's not that bad, just make some gun noises, (I found silencers to be easier). :P

Just act like a big kid.

PS: Make sure nobody else is in the house before making weird noises into a microphone.
