Could anyone point me in the direction of a bot or plugin for mervbot that will let me set up a bot like Matchbot in Trench Wars?

A. Exactly what it says. The bot needs to be SMod, SysOp or in vip.txt to remain connected.
I've added the bot username to
- moderate.txt
- smod.txt
- sysop.txt
and also created a file vip.txt containing the bot username in my subbill & subgame2 directory.
Thing is, I'm still getting the same error.
Have I done something wrong or is there something I've missed ?

Copy subspace.bin from the merv directory to the server directory and rename it to subspace.exe (delete the old one)
