Bot Questions - Banner bot

Post subject: Banner bot

I was wondering if it was possible to make a bot set players banners to ones in bot folder, depending on what freq they are on. Anyone know if this is possible?

I know its possible in ASSS. Smong did it in pirates.

The only power to effect banners in subgame as far as i've seen is requiring a certain amount of points to have one on. I know you could do an lvz over the players banners, but that would be hard to know exactly where the banner would be placed. They won't all have the same resolution either. Switching to as3 is always nice. It may seem hard at first but in the long run it is the best. You seem to be doing a lot of things that are dependant on certain things. Like which freq your on. That would be easy to decide in asss. Any programming I would try to do in python. It's so much easier, there is no make file, just edit & save then reload, and the source is always there.

But for a bot, you are limited.

Im such an ASSS freak now.

What it comes down to is that it is not possible with subgame (because you simply can't put a banner onto a player through a bot/client) and only possible in as3 (like Smong did in his zone).

It is possible in subgame if you use a bot. The bot would have to instruct the server to forward certain packets to all the players. Unless you already have a coder it is unlikely anyone will make such a plugin.
