Visit www.learn2asp.net, watch a couple of videos, and they'll mail you the full suit of Visual Studios, which includes Visual C++. Pretty good deal for the new bot developers out there.

Dealing with the laws of gifts for other countries is usually too much of a hassle, so almost every company will only offer free stuff to those in the same country. I don't remember the last time I saw free offers for anything to a country in which the company had a real base of operations in.

but microsoft has a base & offices in the UK, it wouldnt be that hard to ship stuff, they would have it over there anyway...
