Post subject: Make website think mozilla is IE
Is there a way to edit the mozilla version to make it look like it is Internet Explorer? I hate going to a website and it saying I have to use IE 6. It seems like almost all of the msn games and videos say you need to use THEIR browser. I believe everything would load just fine in Mozilla. I need to trick the site into thinking Mozilla is IE. What do I edit, or is it hard-coded into the browser itself? I hate using IE and this may also be helpful for other people as well.

-Thanks guys

If the site/game requires ActiveX to function, then you might be out of luck either way with Firefox. Is there an ActiveX plugin for it? I doubt Micorsoft would allow that.

Dude, who ever thought you could run Windows Update with Mozilla muhahha. I did it. I love this extention. I recommend this to everyone. Please sticky this topic. I am in love with Mozilla. Thanks for helping me in my transition from IE to FF.

You ever get that screen where it trys to load some microsoft suite sp-1 when you go to a website and you can't cancel it? Or you download a virus and your anti-virus can't remove it. With Mozilla that's no problem. Dude you can add so many things to it. I will NEVER EVER use IE on my home computers EVER again. I'm gonna talk to the Libarians at my school about switching to Mozilla.

Do you understand how the extension works? You aren't transitioning, you're running IE from within firefox
