Is there anyone willing to teach me C++? I really want to learn but its hard for me to learn bymyself.

Take a course at your local technical college. Best part is, if you decide to go to college later, there's a good chance they'll transfer. I got out of my entire freshman year that way.

I was either 14 or 15 when I started. Just be a good student and they'll never care.

That's something you'll have to investigate, because it varies from place to place.

I don't have the willpower to learn things by myself. It deminds so much of me. icon_smile.gif

If you ever want to drop by NYC sometime, a bunch of colleges will accept you even if you're 12. I got my A+ Computer certification from CUNY college when I was 14 (too bad I'm not interested in computers anymore).

You're in high school? You can dual enroll. The high school will pay for the course in your community college, and chances are you don't have to take as many high school courses. Talk to your counselor. Most things like this can be lobbied for.

If you do end up paying for it, it might end up being about a grand.

Good luck icon_smile.gif

You know, if you look hard around the internet and/or ask your friends, there are alot of C++ books to download. They can really get you started learning C++.

If you are looking, also look out for Microsoft Visual Studio, a must-have for microsoft/windows or related development.

Maybe even a few people around here can give some links or good places to start your search

Mav, the first post he made said he didn't want to learn on his own.

Yoink might be right about your school paying for it. I never had that option, because I homeschooled.

Hmm here is another good book.

This book should even be put as a pinned topic at the bot questions forum so people can easily download it if they want to learn C++ icon_smile.gif

If you take two + symbols and move them close together, you get #.
Dr Brain - Thu Mar 09, 2006 4:05 pm
Post subject:
Wouldn't you need 4 to make a #? That or they're seriously demented +'s.
