Post subject: Map Editors
I've been using SSME for too many years. If anyone knows of a better map editor please let me know. In fact, I've ran across another editor by the name of Continuum Levil Ini Tool(CLIT). Also, If anyone knows of any descent tile editors other than Tile Edit.

Well I would have replied sooner but for some reason my password doesnt work for the username No_Remorse any more.

Hi specship, nice to see that you know me, most vets that I know are long gone(moved onto better things). Don't be insulted but I can't remember who you are. Possibly you have switched aliases?

Regarding the DCME map editor: For some reason I can't it to work. If anyone has any suggestions or comments about what I may be doing wrong, please give me some feedback. The error message I get when trying to open it is, "Component 'COMDLG32.OCX' or one of it's dependencies is not correctly registered: a file is missing or invalid".

Thanks for any help.

OK, so I downloaded that file through goolge... Now the program opens but the following error, "Runtime error '54':File not found:C:\Documents and Settings\NR\Desktop\default.bmp".

I was a little confused as to why a program would be dependant on a bitmap file. Anyway, if anyone knows a way to fix this problem, please let me know.

Sorry, I should have been more specific... Nothing to do with that program works. No commands, no drop-down menus, nothing works.

So if anyone has a *working* copy of DCME, could you please send it to me at no_remorse@mail.com. Also, if anyone knows of any descent tile editors.

TY, NR

Excuse me for the double post, just noticed it looks more like no remorse@mail.com, rather than no_remorse@mail.com.
