ok another question...i'll keep this under the same heading to save a lil cluster under the whole forum thing...
now i was reading back posts and i saw that soccerball speed an friction were related by a physics formula but in a nutshell as the friction goes up the quicker the soocer ball slows down. but as i was messing with the numbers i noticed that i was shooting out the ass i had my speed at 35000 and friction at 125, then i tried it again thinking 100 might have been the number making it go backwards so i tried 99 an 30000 but the same result? any ideas? what is the max number u can use for friction before it sends the ball backwards?

Probably something like 16000.

you're probably better off setting ship:soccerballspeed to a negative number
